The Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) is a nine month program that walks students in grades 6-12 through the process of starting their own, REAL businesses. Students brainstorm business ideas, decide if they want to work by themselves or as a team, write a business plan, pitch their plan to investors for funding and actually launch their own business! All of the learning is real and experiential. Students leave the class as business owners, complete with their very own DBA! YEA! is held at Saint Andrews School every Wednesday evening from 4:30-7:30 p.m. beginning in September 2016 and ending in May, 2017. This academic year will mark the 6th consecutive year of the Academy at the Boca Chamber. YEA! can now be found in over 100 locations across the United States!
