PALM BEACH GARDENS — A solar technology company is harnessing the sun, powering some of the many golf carts which were zipping around the Honda Classic this weekend.
Ra Power Pro is supplying solar panels to help keep the carts and CBS12 TV cameras running at PGA National Resort & Spa. The portable panels’ technology was originally developed for troops on the move in the desert overseas, Ra Power Pro President Geoff Haynes said.

VERDEX CONSTRUCTION SELECTED TO COMPLETE LARGE-SCALE RENOVATION OF WEST PALM BEACH OFFICE COMPLEX

West Palm Beach, Fla. – (February 15, 2018) – West Palm Beach-based Verdex Construction has been selected to complete a multi-million dollar interior renovation of new office space on behalf of building owner TAM-CAT-45th Street, LLC. The building be will be home to a new location for Belcan, one of the largest engineering companies in U.S. The location, off of 45th Street in West Palm Beach, is the former home of Lincoln College of Technology.

BDB AND SCHOOL DISTRICT HOST 3RD ANNUAL CAREER SHOWCASE FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

The BDB worked with the School District and CareerSource Palm Beach County to bring together high schools and local companies so that students could learn about career paths and the possibilities that are open to them as the county continues to attract more employers. Students enjoyed interaction with employers and workers in the growing sectors of Life Sciences, Aerospace/Aviation/Engineering, Business Financial Services, and Manufacturing. Other industries represented were Construction/Trades, Real Estate, Hospitality, Tourism, Public Safety, Healthcare, Entrepreneurship, Education, Government, and Exercise Science.
