MOBILEHELP MOVES TO BIGGER HQ, PLANS TO CREATE 150 NEW JOBS

MobileHelp expanded to a new facility in anticipation of adding 150 jobs.

The mobile personal medical alert systems company in December relocated to a new headquarters of nearly 50,000 square feet at the Boca Raton Innovation Campus from Florida Atlantic University’s Research Park, where company occupied 23,000 square feet.

MobileHelp, founded in 2006, currently has about 220 employees. The company is expected to receive $45,000 in economic incentives from the City of Boca Raton and another $45,000 from Palm Beach County as part of a Qualified Target Industry Tax Refund (QTI) Program for its expansion. The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity is expected to contribute another $360,000.

As part of the incentives deal, MobileHelp’s new jobs should have an average annual wage of at least $53,298. It must retain the new jobs, all created by Dec. 31, 2025, for at least five years and was required to make a capital investment of at least $3.6 million to lease and renovate its new headquarters.
